Great Lakes Park Training Institute Sponsorships

Thursday, April 17, 2025

The Great Lakes Park Training Institute (GLPTI), operated by the Eppley Center, is the oldest continuously running training academy for park professionals in the nation. One of the goals of the  GLPTI Board of Advisors and Indiana University staff has always been to make the Institute affordable and assistance from our sponsors makes that possible. 2025 sponsors included Midstates Recreation, Wickcraft Boardwalks, Great Lakes Urban Forestry, Midwest Institute of Park Executives, Collaborative Training Network, Upland Design, and Crossroads Development Resource. Most of these sponsors have supported GLPTI for many years.  We sincerely appreciate and value their partnership to continue the strong tradition of professional development in the relaxed atmosphere of Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana.

The GLPTI Board and staff also strive to create a great value for these partners, offering many levels of sponsorship that include cost-effective basic sponsorships, scholarship sponsorships to help deserving professionals attend the Institute, and comprehensive tiers of sponsorship to offer more promotion of their brand and more exposure to our attendees. Benefits include exposure in GLPTI programs and on signage, logos and web links on our website and in email communications, opportunities to staff an exhibitor booth in the Lake James Room, which is the main conference center hall where all attendees gather for general sessions, ceremonies, and social events, and more.

GLPTI updates sponsor benefits every year to ensure their value keeps up with sponsor needs. Complete sponsor package information for the 2026 Institute will be available in June with sponsor registration opening shortly after.
